This is It's ACE'14 Pitch Application Time
The fourteenth Annual Collaboration for Entrepreneurship is rapidly approaching and the time is now to apply to be one of the six smart, ambitious and investible entrepreneurs to pitch. Here's what the last two winners had to say about the opportunity to pitch at ACE:
"Winning the ACE pitch competition was a springboard in CureLauncher's path to commercialization. We established investor contacts that led to successfully closing our funding round. ACE is an exceptional event and an important resource for entrepreneurs and innovators." David
"Entering and winning the ACE pitch competition was not only great PR for us as a young company; it was also great to hone our ever-important "pitch". Having just a tiny window to get – and keep – a new prospect's attention, it has been key for us to have our pitch down pat so they come back for more." Laura Schrader, 3D Biomatrix, Inc.

Astounding Resource – A GLEQ Coach
For the fourteenth consecutive year, GLEQ is
giving entrepreneurs the tangible help they need to be successful through coaching. Without fail… entrepreneurs thank us for connecting them with the coach that helped them by providing key insights, credible and practical advice, and candid feedback while they developed their business plan competition submissions.
GLEQ coaches are a scarce and significant resource that readies entrepreneurs through one-on-one session to engage with customers, recruit and develop their team and meet potential investors. GLEQ participants are often astounded to find out that this service is available at no cost. Entrepreneurs simply elect to take advantage of this opportunity when they register for the competition.
Here's what we've recently heard from a few entrepreneurs:
"Gary was a phenomenal coach. He made himself available on short notice, over weekends and basically whenever we needed him. He was also very knowledgeable, providing professional and credible advice and practical, tangible help with our business plan."
"Viktor was extremely knowledgeable in the development and coaching of the Business Model Canvas. He was articulate and provided key insights into the customer discovery process. His keen ability to take highly complex subject matter and simplify was both beneficial and appreciated. Viktor excels at providing coaching on how to deliberately identify key customer insights that allow you to link your customer segments with your companies' value proposition."
"We have had several sets of mentors for various publicly sponsored initiatives and the difference between Vince and the others is nothing short of gargantuan. His willingness to provide timely and candid feedback over the course of our submission development was extremely refreshing. He was able to seamlessly blend guidance that facilitated both (in our opinion) an excellent GLEQ package as well as a document that will serve us well in future fund raising efforts."
